How does Kara record and transcribe meetings?

Kara records audio only while you actively record, and shows a recording indicator throughout the session. The audio is transcribed to text and summarized by AI. The providers that process your data are listed in our Privacy Policy .

Do I need consent from the other meeting participants?

Yes. You are responsible for informing the people in your meeting and obtaining any consent the law requires. Before your first recording, the app asks you to confirm this.

How accurate are the transcript and summary?

Transcripts and AI summaries are generated automatically and can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review them before relying on them — see our Terms of Service .

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Account, or without signing in by following our account deletion page .
